Helambu Circuit Trek

The short and popular Helambu Circuit Trekking in the Langtang region offers the breathtaking sceneries of the Himalayas and terraced landscape, and ethnic cultural activities. Also known as “Yolmo Heritage Trek,” the route passes through the historically Yolmo region.  The trek goes through the Shivapuri National Park in the beginning and through the Langtang National Park.  The trek to Helambu Valley begins from Sundarijal, after a short drive west of Kathmandu.  Passing wonderful Mulkharka, you reach to Chisapani, which is a beautiful place to stay for the night.  The trail passes beautiful rhododendron, pine, and oak forests, and through Brahmin, Tamang, and Sherpa villages.  In these villages, we will find incredible hospitality.  Along the trail, we will also be exposed to Buddhist monasteries, religious monuments, caves and pilgrimage sites.    Even from the low altitude, we are able to see excellent views of mountains that including the Langtang Range, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar, Dom Blanc, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and even Everest if it is a clear day.  The area is also home to beautiful flora and fauna.
