Travel Insurance

To travel with confidence in Nepal, travel insurance is needed. It is not mandatory if you are in Nepal for the tours and lower altitude treks. However, if you are going participating in moderate or alpine treks, insurance is essential. If any kinds of accidents or any types of health problems arise and if you have insurance, you will get a quick helicopter rescue from the mountains. There are nohigh-quality hospitals in the mountain region, so it is necessary in case of an emergency to have a helicopter evacuation.Travel insurance should be done in your own country. Make sure to check with your insurance provider what is included in your plan.  It may not cover the high altitude rescue and high medical expenses.
